KidzROCK 

The KidzROCK conference is back in 2023, Term 4, Week 3, Thursday 26th October at Otumoetai Intermediate in Tauranga. It begins at 1:00pm with guest performances by  well known local singer/songwriter artists then an “On the Couch” interview and questions, followed by sound checks and then workshop/muso presentations where the children separate into groups to learn about playing their instrument, singing, songwriting, or recording. After dinner the evening finishes with a concert beginning at 6:30pm where the bands perform until 9.30pm This year we have 2 school bands attending to represent GVS: GreVous & GeForce.

You and your family and friends are always invited each year as Whanau, Caregiver & Friends support & encouragement is essential. Entry is free or a gold coin donation

An opportunity for the next generation of aspiring contemporary young musicians to perform in a fun, supportive and encouraging format, with a focus on fun, education, mahitahi, inspiration and entertainment.
